This was shot in our zoo’s reptile house during a ‘behind the scenes’ shoot. Handlers were available who would open the cages to allow us to get up close to some of the reptiles. We booked an excursion with <a href="http://www.adventureantigua.com/tour.html#EcoTour" target="_blank">Adventure Antigua</a>. We chose to go on the Eco Tour; highly recommend it. We made a stop for lunch on an island known as Great Bird Island. I had the opportunity to shoot in our zoo’s reptile house with a small group of photographers. This snake was setup in an open environment under strobes which allowed us to get extremely close.
