Devil’s Guerite

This was shot at Fort San Cristóbal in Puerto Rico. Known as the Devil’s Guerite; this part of the fort is one of the oldest, built in 1634.

Gecko

I believe this is a Madagascar Gecko. This was shot in our zoo’s reptile house during a ‘behind the scenes’ shoot. Handlers were available who would open the cages to allow us to get up close to some of the reptiles. This was taken with a 70mm macro.

Antigua

On our honeymoon in 2009 we made a stop in Antigua. We booked an excursion with Adventure Antigua. We chose to go on the Eco Tour; highly recommend it. We made a stop for lunch on an island known as Great Bird Island. We took a little hike to the top for the incredible views.

Emerald Tree Boa

This is a juvenile Emerald tree boa. I had the opportunity to shoot in our zoo’s reptile house with a small group of photographers. This snake was setup in an open environment under strobes which allowed us to get extremely close. This was taken with a 70mm macro lens.

Salmon Falls

I made this photo during a trip to Alaska in 2008. While we were in Juneau we had dinner at the Gold Creek Salmon Bake.  A short walk down the trail leads to these falls.

Courthouse Butte

I made this photo during a recent trip to Sedona, Arizona.  We stayed at Canyon Villa; an incredible B&B with amazing views.  This shot was actually within walking distance of our B&B.
